Being recognised as a CWA Husband

The certificate was presented to him by Pauline Dunk, group president, at the Majors Creek's CWA Branches 80th Birthday recently.

Brian's grandmother, mother, aunt and great aunt were all foundation members in 1936.

His mother was president from 1966-1983 and his wife Deirdre has been treasurer since 1985.

Brian recalls during the 1950s as a young man having a car to take the ladies to various meetings and functions and has continued to be on hand to help the branch whenever needed.
