On the weekend of the of October 14 and 15 ten members of the Braidwood Fishing Club made their way to Jindabyne for the annual fresh water competition. Friday and Saturday were perfect spring days on the lake for fishing, which meant most members landed themselves one or two fish over the weekend.
WINNERS: Rosa Harrex, M. Harrex, Ian Faviell, Riley Hewitt and Gary Richards.
We had three members catching their first trout which were all over 45cm. The winners for the weekend were:
Junior Girl – Rosa Harrex with 45.5cm Brown Trout
Junior Boy – Riley Hewitt with a 39cm Brown Trout.
Senior Male – Garry Richards with a 53.5cm Brown Trout.

The next competition is at Nelligen on November 4-6.
