Ms Gartside came to Australia from the United Kingdom in 2007 for a working holiday. After arriving in Brisbane to stay with a third cousin she’d never met, she set out to travel all the way round. She succeeded, nearly, before visiting family friends in Bungendore. While there, she was invited to take over the Braidwood Dance Studio.
“I have been here for 10 years now and the next step to make it my forever home was to do my citizenship,” Ms Gartside said.
She loves the way of life, the opportunities and the weather in her new home.
“Braidwood has such a great community and I have been lucky to be able to build such an amazing business full of talented children!” Ms Gartside said.
