Tom Watson, Greg Watson, Troy Vardanega, Stan Vardanega, Will Wall and Jimmy Tooth headed to the Snowy Mountains to help out with a working bee on Apex’s Magic Castle.
The Magic Castle is ski lodge located at Smiggin Holes near Perisher and is used by community groups Australia wide to take disadvantaged children and children with disabilities to the snow.
It is operated by the Apex Foundation and it opened in 1979. The entire project was built on voluntary labour by Apex members.
This was the second trip in as many years for the Braidwood crew who previously helped out with the re-cladding of the building in January 2016.
On the home front our local Apex club regularly run events to raise money for the local community and help out organisations with man power.
If you are a young man from the age of 18-45 and want to give back to your local community contact our secretary Terry Darcy on 0408422151.
