With all those Transition days in 2017 under their belts, BCS Kindergarten children have settled in well and happily to school life.
The Kindergarten teacher this year is Belinda Norris. Ms Norris has taught at a range of schools, some small, some large, in Goulburn and surrounding areas. She came to BCS from a full-time position in Goulburn.
“Kindergarten is my favourite class,” she says. “Every day is a new adventure with them. I love watching them grow and acquire knowledge. It is amazing to see how much them develop over the first year of school.”
Though she enjoys all aspects of teaching, Belinda particularly loves Maths and Science because of the way the children develop their understanding of the world through hands-on experience.
Seventeen students began their Kindergarten year at St Bede’s last Tuesday.
“Our Kinder students have made a great start and are all set for a great year of learning,” said principal Trish Ferlitsch.
