Goulburn Mulwaree Athletics Club (GMAC) has capped off a tremendous year of personal achievements with many outstanding results at the ACT State Little Athletics Championships at Woden over the weekend.

Many of GMAC’s athletes were attending their first championships and were spurred on by the excitement of the occasion to break their own personal best performances and some to even achieve medals. One of the club’s more seasoned athletes Chloe Waddell (under 15s) broke the 300m Hurdles record.
Ryan Goad contested his last ACT Little Athletics Championships and he achieved u17 silver in the Triple Jump (PB), bronze in the High Jump and PBs in Long Jump and 100m Hurdles.
GMAC wraps up its season this week with its presentation night, this time held at their Hudson Park competition grounds at 5.30pm on Thursday evening. Also at the presentations the club’s 2018 Australian Little Athletics Championship ACT Representatives (ALAC) will be announced. Everyone is hoping Charlotte Kalozi, Chloe Waddell (U15's) Josh Kalozi (U13's) are included. Josh Kalozi became an Australian Juniors Hurdles Champion and Triple Jump silver medalist at the Junior Nationals held two weeks ago in Sydney.
