It may have looked like a winter wonderland, but it was in fact an isolated hail event.
Mark Barrington from Dojo Bread in Braidwood posted an image of car covered in a dusting of white.
Mr Barrington said the hail was small in size but numerous in quantity.
“It was absolutely bucketing down into our courtyard,” he said.
Over the course of the morning, Mr Barrington had been quizzing customers about where they came from and what the hail situation was like in their neck of the woods.
“I have a mate who lives about seven kilometres up the Nerriga Road and he said it was lovely and sunny there,” Mr Barrington said.
“It seems it was very isolated.”
Following the hail, which fell between 9am and 10am on Wednesday morning, Mr Barrington said a big fall of rain came through, creating a temporary river through the Dojo carpark.
