Braidwood Connect, the monthly networking event, may soon be revived.
Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council (QPRC) is exploring opportunities to support the return of Braidwood Connect with the local business chamber and RDA Southern Inland.
"Local businesses are being consulted on the format and content of future Braidwood Connect meetings," a QPRC spokesperson said.
"The QPRC Business and Innovation team are always keen to support economic development initiatives across the region and are excited at the potential return of Braidwood Connect to the local business events calendar."
The community is being asked for their help in setting up the agenda for the event by QPRC in collaboration and Regional Development Australia Southern Inland (RDASI) at the upcoming event that will be held at BRAG Gallery on June 9 from 6-8pm.
The event will include addressing the issues of staff shortage and how the region may be able to encourage staff to come to Braidwood. Discussion on the affordable housing issue, staff sharing opportunities will also be a part of the event.
Meanwhile, issues related to phone and Internet connectivity, solving small scale livestock paddock to market roadblocks, sustainability and affordable waste management may also be a part of the agenda.
