Meet the candidates running for local council elections

The prospective candidates have started registering for the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council elections as the date is fast approaching.

The local council elections will be held on September 4 in which nine councillors will be elected to represent the LGA.

So far, seven candidates have registered to run for the seat of a councillor for the upcoming elections.

The Queanbeyan Age Chronicle has put together a list of candidates that have registered to run for the elections as of July 5, 2021.

These candidates are:

  • John Peter Preston
  • Bryce Peter Wilson
  • Kenrick Lachlan Winchester
