All the effort is in aid of the town’s first Community Clock.
A gift to the town from the bank, Baby Ben was 95 percent complete as of Thursday, says branch manager Nick Fry.
Mr Fry is expecting great things from the unveiling ceremony. Hundreds will flock to watch as Deputy Premier and Monaro MP John Barilaro unveils the timepiece.
Afterwards, Baby Ben biscuits will be provided by the Bakery, Baby Ben rolls by DOJO Bread, and of course, a sausage sizzle by the Braidwood Lions.
The ceremony begins at 11.30am on Friday, February 16. Wallace Street will be closed from Duncan to Lascelles streets from 11.15am to 2.30pm.
