It was a sunny day at the showgrounds, a nice change after an incredibly wet show in 2017.
Probably 1,300-1,400 people came through the gates on the day, said Braidwood Show Society president Di Izzard.
She was particularly impressed with the quality of fruit, vegetables and flowers in the pavilion, which was full to bursting.
“It went really well, it was well spread out, it was a happy crowd,” Ms Izzard said.
“Considering it was a dry year, and we only got rain a week before, the standards of the fruit and vegetables and the flowers was really good.”
Punters enjoyed horse events, sheep and cattle judging, dog high jumping and of course food and rides.
The pavilion was stocked full of the fruit of local talent, including vegetables, preserves, arts, craft and photographs.
